Hello and welcome. There's an old saying, if you can imagine it, it is real.
In today's meditation, you will be guided through a journey of imagination, meeting an ancient dragon spirit that will help you uncover your hidden powers and feel a sense of freedom. As you listen, allow yourself to dive fully into the story, experiencing it as though it's happening right now. Your mind doesn't distinguish between reality and imagination. What you feel and see here can become your reality. Be open to surprises, because the journey ahead holds the power to shape the world around you.
Remember, the shaping of your reality begins with your imagination. If you believe in it, anything is possible. Now, find a comfortable seat. Center yourself. Set your intention to break free and uncover your hidden powers.
Take a deep, deep breath in and out, slowly allowing your body to relax with each breath. Your breathing deepens with each cycle. Now, imagine you are standing at the top of a grand stone staircase. The steps are smooth, worn from the passage of many travelers. Take a slow, slow step down, feeling the cool, solid surface beneath your feet. The air around you growing still and quiet. Continue to descend. Each step you take brings you closer to a deepened state of reality. Each step you take brings you closer to a deepened state of relaxation. Taking one step at a time. Moving into a new reality. Another step.
Allow yourself to sink deeper into an altered state of consciousness, where the magical and mystical come to life. Continue to descend. Going down and down and down. As you take another step down, feel your mind slowing even more. If thoughts arise, simply acknowledge them and let them drift away. Continue to descend. Keep descending. Each step you take brings you deeper, your thoughts quieting as your mind drifts into stillness.
With each step down, feel your awareness expanding, your brain waves slowing into deeper calm. Continue to descend. Going down and down and down. As you take the final step, you notice the air shift. You find yourself stepping into a vast, ancient redwood forest. The air is fresh and cool, filled with the scent of pine and earth. You feel the soft soil beneath your bare feet, the rocks grounding you, and a faint glow emanates from your skin, like starlight reflecting off your very essence.
You look up. Tall, straight redwoods rise around you, their canopies reaching into the sky. Ferns line the forest floor, swaying gently as you pass. As you walk further into the forest, you come across a stone circle nestled in a clearing. The stones are ancient, covered in moss and lichen. Feeling an almost magnetic pull, you step into the center of the circle. Slowly, the moss covering the stones begins to move, forming intricate symbols. One by one, the stones light up, glowing clockwise around you, creating a circle of light. You can feel the energy rising, vibrating through your body.
A dead tree lying across the ground grabs your attention. Covered in moss, it stands out among the living giants, as though it holds a secret. The air hums with quiet anticipation. Suddenly, the dead tree begins to stir. The bark cracks and peels away, revealing something extraordinary beneath. A majestic dragon emerging. Its form is vast and ancient, yet full of life. The dragon shakes off the last remnants of its disguise, revealing its true essence. A being of pure magic, it turns to you, its eyes glowing with wisdom and power.
Allow yourself to sense the dragon's presence. Notice its energy. It doesn't matter if you're imagining it or not, just let the experience unfold. And let your heart be the lead. How do you feel as you step closer? Will it let you touch its skin? Can you sense if it's a he or she?
Now, express your sincere desire to come closer to the dragon. Now, express your sincere desire to learn from this being. You may speak, sing, dance, or choose any way that feels right to you. Connect deeply with the dragon, feeling its essence within you and yours within it. The dragon lowers its head and invites you to climb onto its back, saying, come, let us journey together to discover your hidden powers. With a gentle push, you take flight on the dragon's back.
As you rise higher into the air, the wind brushes against your skin, cool and invigorating. The ground below begins to shrink, becoming a beautiful mosaic like a painting revealed piece by piece. The sun's rays warm you, and the sky opens up, vast and infinite. You feel a deep sense of freedom, limitless, capable of anything. Higher and higher you soar, until the dragon begins to fly through the clouds. Ahead, you see a storm forming. Its dark clouds swirling and crackling with energy. The sight is both awe-inspiring and a little frightening.
"Lightning is such an exciting being. It is full of life and brings renewal and rebirth," the dragon says. Then it charges toward the storm. Fear shifts into excitement. Just as you enter, the storm transforms into a portal. You lose the sense of time. You are in the now. You lose the sense of space, because the world is infinite. You are now in another dimension. There was only emptiness until the dragon became the space itself, its form flattening and expanding.
As the dragon merges with the vastness, you suddenly sense the duality of space. It is the concept of limitation that gives form to things, defining their edges and bringing them into being. The dragon says, while shifting, it becomes the ground you now stand upon, a living part of this magical realm. As a reality weaver, you bring the formless into form by giving it boundaries, while still allowing it to grow beyond your imagination, the dragon says.
Take a moment to wander and open up your senses, feeling the connection between you and the land, the dragon itself. As you explore, a glowing orb catches your attention. It pulses gently, calling to you. This orb contains the secret of your magical powers. You know it in your heart. You approach the orb and reach out to touch it. As your hands make contact, you feel its energy. Absorb the orb, perhaps swallowing it, feel it travel down your throat, or place it on your skin, letting it seep into your heart or any part of your being. Feel the orb's energy flow into you, becoming one with your essence. You feel your powers awakening. They have always been there. The orb is simply helping you to see, the dragon says.
Its energy is like faith, the belief in oneself. You had it all along, and now you fully realize it. Every cell in your body begins to light up. Your system comes alive, buzzing with the energy. You feel your power expanding from the core of your being. Out through your skin, like a light shining from within. This is just the beginning of your journey. Let yourself sit in this moment, feeling your power activating. Sense the energy of your power. What does it feel like?
As you revel in your newfound power, the dragon's voice returns. "Your power is awakening. Be open, receptive, and ready. When you return, find an object in your world, perhaps a charm or a piece of paper. Pour your will into it and program it to keep you aligned with your magic. You will receive guidance, omens, and opportunities to continue developing your power and uncover more depth and width. The more you explore and reflect, the more powerful you will be."
The landscape beneath you undulates gently, moving with the rhythm of the dragon's breath. Now, open your heart, and when I chant, let my words enter your being, flowing through every part of you.
By sky and wind, let your power rise. Through every breath, you come alive. Awaken the force that sleeps within. Unleash the magic. Let it begin. The world expands as you take flight. Your chant opens new pathways inside you. Each word vibrates within your heart, expanding out into every corner of your body. You feel a deep connection to the dragon's wisdom and your own potential. Now, repeat these affirmations with me, either out loud or in your heart. Let each one strengthen your faith, the belief in yourself.

A dragon's energy wraps around you, forming a cocoon holding you within its protective embrace. You feel the warmth and security, knowing that you are ready to return with this newfound power. The inner surface turns white, and light begins to penetrate. Like being inside an egg, you are ready to be born. Now, break the shell. Hear the cracks as the shell falls away. You emerge new and free.
Take a full deep breath, feeling your body once again. And when you're ready, gently open your eyes, returning to the present moment.
