Cut and Love

  • This meditation is designed to help you honor your connection while allowing you to move forward with love and peace.

    Find a comfortable position, either sitting or lying down.

    Allow your body to settle into the surface beneath you.

    Close your eyes gently and take a deep breath in through your nose, feeling your abdomen expand.

    Hold it for a moment and then exhale slowly through your mouth, releasing any tension or worry.

    With each breath, feel yourself becoming more grounded.

    Imagine roots extending from the base of your spine into the earth, anchoring you securely.

    Visualize drawing up energy from the earth, warm, nurturing energy that fills you with strength and stability.

    Let go of any heaviness or discomfort.

    Take a moment to slow your breath and deepen each inhalation.

    Now bring to mind the image of your deceased loved one.

    Picture them standing before you, surrounded by light.

    Feel their presence and the warmth of their spirit.

    Acknowledge the bond that exists between you, a connection forged through love that transcends physical existence.

    As you focus on this connection, visualize an energetic cord linking your heart to theirs.

    This cord may appear as a color or texture unique to your relationship. Take a moment to observe this cord; it symbolizes both the love you shared and any emotional ties that may still linger.

    In your hands, imagine holding a pair of scissors or a symbolic tool designed for this purpose.

    As you prepare to cut the cord, remind yourself that this act is not about severing love but rather about releasing any emotional burdens that no longer serve your highest good.

    Take a deep breath in, feeling the energy of love surrounding you.

    As you exhale, gently bring the scissors toward the cord. With intention and clarity, say aloud or in your mind, "I honor our connection and release what no longer serves me."

    With a decisive motion, cut through the cord.

    As you do so, visualize the energy dissipating into sparkling light, transforming into beautiful particles that float away into the universe.

    Spend some time examining your energetic body.

    Identify any lingering cords that need releasing.

    Feel a sense of relief as the weight of lingering emotions begins to lift.

    Breathe deeply again, allowing space in your heart for healing and new beginnings.

    Envision your heart brimming with radiant light, pure, unattached love flowing freely.

    Now take a moment to send love and gratitude to your loved one.

    You might say, "Thank you for the love we shared. I carry you in my heart always," or simply hold the intention of radiating love.

    Envision this love flowing towards them as they smile at you from their place in spirit.

    Sense their joy as you embrace this new chapter of your life.

    If there's anything you wish to tell them, now is your moment.

    When you're ready, slowly bring your awareness back to the present moment. Wiggle your fingers and toes gently, feeling reconnected with your body.

    Take one last deep breath in through your nose and out through your mouth.
